TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Urgent Care to provide fast-paced, high-quality medical care in an urgent care setting. The RN will be responsible for triaging patients, assisting with minor procedures, administering medications, and ensuring efficient patient flow in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform triage assessments to determine patient acuity and priority of care
- Assist with minor medical procedures, including wound care, suturing, and orthopedic splinting
- Administer medications, vaccines, IV fluids, and breathing treatments as ordered
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare staff to deliver efficient care
- Respond to medical emergencies, including cardiac events, allergic reactions, and trauma cases
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with urgent care protocols
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in urgent care, emergency, or acute care nursing preferred
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick, informed clinical decisions
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
