Responsibilities
- Assist in electrophysiology studies, catheter ablations, and pacemaker/ICD implantations.
- Operate and maintain EP lab equipment, including mapping and ablation systems.
- Monitor and record patient vitals and electrocardiographic data during procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for EP procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in the EP lab.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient responses.
- Follow infection control, radiation safety, and sterile field protocols.
- Travel to assigned healthcare facilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Electrophysiology, or a related field.
- Certification: Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an EP lab or cardiovascular setting.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of cardiac electrophysiology, excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to accept travel assignments and relocate as needed.
