TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain daily living skills and improve their quality of life through therapeutic activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with occupational therapy exercises and activities.
- Implement treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to improve mobility and independence.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Certification: Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, adaptability, and patient-care skills.
