TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Vascular Technologist (Vascular Tech) for travel assignments in hospitals, vascular clinics, and imaging centers. The Vascular Tech will perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound studies to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating vascular diseases.
Responsibilities
- Perform vascular ultrasound procedures, including carotid, venous, and arterial Doppler studies.
- Assess blood flow abnormalities and document findings.
- Prepare patients and explain vascular imaging procedures.
- Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment for optimal image quality.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret diagnostic images.
- Maintain patient records and imaging documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Vascular Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or a related field.
- Certification: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through ARDMS or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through CCI.
- Experience:
- 1+ year of vascular ultrasound experience in a clinical setting.
- Experience in peripheral arterial testing, venous reflux studies, and transcranial Doppler is a plus.
- Skills:
