The Behavioral Health Social Worker will provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support services to individuals dealing with mental health disorders, substance abuse, or life challenges.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments to determine patients' needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention for patients and families.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Connect patients to community resources and support services.
• Advocate for patient rights and mental health awareness.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) preferred.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience: At least 1 year of behavioral health experience preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment approaches.
  • Ability to handle crisis situations and de-escalate conflicts.
  • Excellent communication and case management skills.
• Travel Readiness: Willingness to relocate temporarily for assignments.
