Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizers, bronchodilators, and chest physiotherapy.
Operate and manage ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAP machines.
Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and interpret results.
Assist in emergency airway management and resuscitation procedures.
Educate patients and families on respiratory therapy techniques and disease management.
Maintain compliance with infection control and patient safety protocols.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Certification:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from the NBRC.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (as required per facility).
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy.
Skills:
- Expertise in ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and airway clearance techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Travel Readiness: Willing to relocate temporarily for travel assignments.
