Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions.
• Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizers, and aerosol treatments.
• Assist in mechanical ventilation management and non-invasive ventilation support.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and adjust respiratory treatments as needed.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and disease prevention.
• Work closely with nurses, physicians, and healthcare teams to provide optimal care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Certification:
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the NBRC.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (as required per facility).
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in respiratory care.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in oxygen therapy, airway management, and ventilator care.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Travel Readiness: Willing to relocate temporarily for travel assignments.
