TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown for travel assignments in various healthcare facilities. The RN will provide high-level care to patients who are transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical or general care units. This role requires strong critical thinking, cardiac monitoring skills, and clinical expertise to support patients with complex and changing conditions.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to stepdown unit patients.
Monitor cardiac rhythms, respiratory status, and other vital signs.
Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as prescribed.
Assist with post-ICU recovery plans and continued stabilization.
Document nursing interventions, assessments, and care plans.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on recovery expectations and home care.
Travel to different healthcare facilities based on assignment.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited RN nursing program.
License: Active RN license in the state of assignment or compact license.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of stepdown or progressive care experience preferred.
Skills: Strong assessment, telemetry monitoring, and patient care skills.
Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments.
