Responsibilities

Provide preoperative and postoperative nursing care for short-stay patients.
Monitor vital signs, pain levels, and post-procedure recovery progress.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and other necessary treatments.
Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and follow-up instructions.
Coordinate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams.
Ensure proper documentation of patient care, assessments, and treatments.
Assist in discharge planning and coordination with outpatient services.
Travel to various healthcare facilities for assignments.

Qualifications

Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in a Short Stay Unit, PACU, Med-Surg, or similar setting.
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred.
Skills: Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift patients, work in high-stress situations, and move quickly.
Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments.
