TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Rehab for travel assignments in rehabilitation centers and hospitals. The RN will provide specialized nursing care for patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions, assisting them in regaining mobility and independence.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients' rehabilitation progress.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Provide wound care, IV therapy, and pain management.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on recovery techniques and home care.
- Ensure patient safety and prevent complications.
- Document and report patient status and progress.
Qualifications
- Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- License: Active RN license in the designated state.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of rehabilitation nursing experience.
- Experience in post-surgical or orthopedic rehabilitation is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation protocols and patient mobility.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments.
