TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Radiology to assist with diagnostic imaging procedures, interventional radiology, and sedation administration. This role is ideal for RNs with a strong background in IV therapy, patient monitoring, and radiologic safety. The Radiology RN ensures patients are well-prepared, comfortable, and safe during imaging and minimally invasive procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist with CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, fluoroscopy, and interventional radiology procedures
Administer IV contrast, moderate sedation, and pain management medications as needed
Monitor patients before, during, and after imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
Educate patients on procedure expectations, potential risks, and post-procedure care
Recognize and respond to contrast reactions, respiratory distress, or cardiac complications
Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and infection control measures
Document patient assessments, procedural details, and medication administration in EHR

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s)
Minimum 2 years of experience in radiology, critical care, or procedural nursing
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
Experience with IV sedation, patient monitoring, and emergency response preferred
Strong understanding of radiologic procedures, contrast agents, and safety protocols
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
