Responsibilities

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a Travel RN – Postpartum to provide compassionate and specialized care to mothers and newborns after childbirth. The ideal candidate will monitor the recovery of mothers, educate them on newborn care, and ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home.

Qualifications

Monitor and assess postpartum mothers and newborns for any complications
Provide pain management and postpartum recovery care
Educate mothers on newborn feeding, diapering, and sleep patterns
Assist with breastfeeding support and lactation consulting
Administer medications, IV therapy, and postpartum interventions as needed
Recognize and address signs of postpartum depression or complications
Collaborate with OB/GYNs, pediatricians, and lactation consultants
Support skin-to-skin contact, bonding, and early parenting education
Ensure proper documentation and patient education before discharge

Benefits

Minimum 2 years of postpartum nursing experience
BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
Strong maternal and newborn care skills
