TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – PICU to provide specialized critical care for infants, children, and adolescents in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive critical care to pediatric patients with life-threatening conditions
- Monitor and assess vital signs, ventilators, and IV drips
- Administer medications, fluids, and blood products following PICU protocols
- Respond to medical emergencies, including respiratory distress and cardiac arrests
- Work closely with pediatric intensivists, respiratory therapists, and specialists to manage patient care
- Educate and support patients' families through critical care situations
- Maintain strict infection control and patient safety procedures
- Document patient conditions, treatments, and responses accurately
- Participate in continuous learning, training, and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s)
- Minimum 2 years of PICU, NICU, or pediatric critical care experience
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
- Critical Care Registered Nurse – Pediatric (CCRN-P) preferred but not required
- Experience with ventilators, ECMO, and pediatric sedation preferred
- Strong communication and family-centered care approach
