TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – PICU to provide specialized critical care for infants, children, and adolescents in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. This role involves assessing critically ill pediatric patients, administering life-saving interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive critical care to pediatric patients with life-threatening conditions
Monitor and assess vital signs, ventilators, and IV drips
Administer medications, fluids, and blood products following PICU protocols
Respond to medical emergencies, including respiratory distress and cardiac arrests
Work closely with pediatric intensivists, respiratory therapists, and specialists to manage patient care
Educate and support patients' families through critical care situations
Maintain strict infection control and patient safety procedures
Document patient conditions, treatments, and responses accurately
Participate in continuous learning, training, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s)
Minimum 2 years of PICU, NICU, or pediatric critical care experience
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
Critical Care Registered Nurse – Pediatric (CCRN-P) preferred but not required
Experience with ventilators, ECMO, and pediatric sedation preferred
Strong communication and family-centered care approach
