TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and organized Registered Nurse – Patient Service Representative (RN-PSR) to serve as a liaison between patients and clinical teams. This role is primarily structured for travel assignments, offering RNs a dynamic opportunity to deliver care coordination and administrative support across various healthcare environments.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, assisting with intake, appointment scheduling, and follow-up communications.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, prescriptions, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR and maintain confidentiality of all patient records.
- Collaborate with medical providers to ensure efficient care delivery and workflow.
- Triage patient concerns and direct them to appropriate clinical personnel.
- Help resolve billing or insurance questions and ensure a smooth administrative experience for patients.
- Promote a patient-first culture with empathy, active listening, and excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered RN license in the state of practice (or compact license if applicable).
- Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a clinic, outpatient, or patient-facing administrative role.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and healthcare front desk operations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and flexibility to accept travel assignments across various facilities.
