TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN – Observation Unit for travel assignments. This role involves providing short-term care for patients requiring ongoing evaluation before discharge or hospital admission. The ideal candidate has strong critical-thinking skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple patients efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients in observation status.
- Provide timely interventions based on patient condition changes.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as ordered.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately.
- Travel to various hospitals and medical facilities for temporary assignments.
Qualifications
- Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in an Observation Unit, ED, or Med-Surg.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required.
- Skills: Strong assessment, time management, and patient care coordination skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work 12-hour shifts and assist patients as needed.
- Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments.
