Job Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN – OB/GYN for travel assignments. This role focuses on providing comprehensive care to women throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum, as well as assisting with gynecological treatments and procedures. The ideal candidate has strong patient education skills, clinical expertise, and a compassionate approach to women's health.
Responsibilities
- Provide prenatal, labor, and postpartum care to patients.
- Assist with gynecological procedures, exams, and screenings.
- Monitor fetal development and maternal health.
- Educate patients on reproductive health, pregnancy, and postpartum care.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and pain management treatments.
- Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately.
- Travel to various hospitals and clinics for temporary assignments.
Qualifications
- Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in OB/GYN, Labor & Delivery, or Women’s Health.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NRP preferred.
- Skills: Strong maternal-fetal assessment, patient education, and communication skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work 12-hour shifts and assist patients as needed.
- Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments.
