This role involves providing critical care nursing to patients with life-threatening medical conditions in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the MICU.
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage ventilators.
Perform continuous assessments and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Respond to emergency situations, including code blues and rapid response calls.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and post-ICU care.
Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments.

Qualifications

Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in a critical care or MICU setting.
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CCRN preferred.
Skills: Strong assessment, critical thinking, and ventilator management skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long hours and assist with patient transfers.
Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments.
