This role involves providing critical care nursing to patients with life-threatening medical conditions in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the MICU.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage ventilators.
• Perform continuous assessments and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency situations, including code blues and rapid response calls.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and post-ICU care.
• Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments.

Qualifications

• Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a critical care or MICU setting.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CCRN preferred.
• Skills: Strong assessment, critical thinking, and ventilator management skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long hours and assist with patient transfers.
• Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments.
