Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.
- Administer medications, treatments, and wound care as prescribed.
- Monitor residents’ vital signs, conditions, and overall well-being.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to create care plans.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including mobility and hygiene.
- Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families.
- Ensure proper documentation of medical records and care plans.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in a long-term care or geriatric nursing setting.
- Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred.
- Skills: Strong patient care, wound care, and medication administration.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift patients, work extended shifts, and provide hands-on care.
- Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments.
