Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions.
- Monitor and assess vital signs, ventilators, wound care, and IV therapy.
- Administer medications, blood transfusions, and specialized treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and rehabilitation specialists.
- Provide tracheostomy and ventilator management when required.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and long-term care needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow hospital protocols.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in an LTAC, ICU, or critical care setting.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CCRN preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in critical care, telemetry, and ventilator management.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift patients, work long shifts, and manage high-stress environments.
- Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments.
