Job Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Therapy for travel assignments. This role focuses on assisting with minimally invasive procedures, including interventional radiology, cardiac interventions, and pain management treatments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in vascular access, moderate sedation, and hemodynamic monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure nursing care for patients undergoing interventional therapy.
- Assist physicians with catheter-based, image-guided, and minimally invasive procedures.
- Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient responses.
- Perform vascular access, IV therapy, and medication administration.
- Monitor and assess hemodynamic status, vital signs, and procedural complications.
- Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and post-care instructions.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and surgical teams for optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in Interventional Therapy, Radiology, or Cardiology.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; CCRN or CRN preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of moderate sedation, fluoroscopy, and emergency interventions.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and respond quickly in emergencies.
- Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments.
