Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatment planning, and medication administration.
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control procedures, and safety protocols.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHRs).
• Respond to medical emergencies and changes in patient conditions.
• Assist in discharge planning and transition of care.

Qualifications

• Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of acute care, patient assessment, and critical thinking.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift patients, and handle emergency situations.
• Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments.
