Job Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Hospital Generalist Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care across various hospital departments. This role is ideal for RNs with a broad range of experience in acute care, medical-surgical, telemetry, and other hospital settings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in medical-surgical, telemetry, orthopedics, and other hospital units
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood transfusions as prescribed
- Assist with diagnostic tests, procedures, and post-operative care
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide patient and family education on disease management, discharge planning, and self-care
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control measures
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient care accurately
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s)
- Minimum 1-2 years of hospital nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to various hospital units and patient care settings
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
