Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in medical-surgical, telemetry, orthopedics, and other hospital units
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood transfusions as prescribed
Assist with diagnostic tests, procedures, and post-operative care
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Provide patient and family education on disease management, discharge planning, and self-care
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control measures
Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient care accurately

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s)
Minimum 1-2 years of hospital nursing experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to adapt to various hospital units and patient care settings
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
