Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to terminally ill patients
- Assess patient conditions and develop personalized care plans
- Administer pain management and palliative treatments
- Educate patients and families on end-of-life care, symptom management, and emotional coping
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and hospice care teams
- Monitor patient comfort levels and adjust interventions as needed
- Ensure compliance with hospice care protocols and legal requirements
- Offer grief support and emotional counseling for families
Qualifications
- Active RN license in applicable state(s)
- Minimum 1–2 years of hospice or palliative care experience preferred
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Strong understanding of end-of-life care, pain management, and symptom control
- Excellent communication and emotional support skills
