Job Overview

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – GI Lab to provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic and gastroenterological procedures. The RN will assist in procedures, administer sedation, monitor patients, and ensure a safe and efficient environment in the GI Lab.

Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopic, colonoscopy, and other GI procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs before, during, and after procedures
• Administer moderate sedation and medications as per physician orders
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care
• Maintain sterile techniques and infection control protocols
• Work collaboratively with gastroenterologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare providers
• Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care as needed
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in applicable state(s)
• Minimum 1–2 years of GI Lab or endoscopy nursing experience preferred
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
• Experience with moderate sedation and patient monitoring
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment
