Responsibilities

Assist with intake screenings and routine health assessments.
Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with facility policies.
Collaborate with correctional officers and healthcare staff to ensure safe and effective care.
Educate patients on chronic disease management and preventive healthcare.
Follow security protocols and maintain a professional demeanor in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s).
Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably in corrections, emergency medicine, or public health.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle high-stress situations and work in a secure environment.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
Willingness to comply with facility-specific security procedures.
