TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Charge Nurse to oversee nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. This leadership role requires strong clinical expertise, team coordination, and problem-solving abilities to support both patients and healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and provide guidance to nursing staff and support personnel
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • Assign patient care responsibilities and oversee workflow management to maintain efficiency
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical decision-making and conflict resolution
  • Assist in patient assessments, medication administration, and emergency interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient records, incident reports, and staff performance evaluations
  • Train and mentor new nursing staff, providing support and education
  • Respond to emergency situations, critical patient conditions, and staffing challenges
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process evaluations

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s)
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or charge nurse role
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
  • Strong knowledge of hospital operations, patient care standards, and emergency response protocols
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to manage staff, delegate tasks, and maintain a positive work environment
