Responsibilities
- Provide direct and specialized care for patients with acute cardiac conditions
- Monitor patients using advanced cardiac equipment and telemetry
- Administer medications, including IV drips, cardiac drugs, and emergency treatments
- Collaborate with cardiologists, intensivists, and healthcare teams
- Assist in cardiac procedures such as angioplasty, stent placements, and post-operative care
- Educate patients and families on heart disease management and recovery plans
- Respond to life-threatening situations, performing ACLS interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CCU, ICU, or Cardiac Care
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and cardiac medications
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to travel and work in high-stress environments
