TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Telemetry to monitor and care for patients with cardiac conditions who require continuous telemetry monitoring. This role is ideal for RNs with a strong background in cardiac care, telemetry interpretation, and emergency response, ensuring the highest standard of patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, EKG/ECG readings, and telemetry data
Provide specialized nursing care for patients with heart disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-cardiac procedures
Administer IV drips, cardiac medications, and titrate vasopressors as prescribed
Respond quickly to cardiac emergencies, code situations, and rapid response calls
Collaborate with cardiologists, intensivists, and healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, medications, lifestyle changes, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and patient documentation
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and hospital protocols

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s)
Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac telemetry, step-down, or progressive care units (PCU)
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
Certification in Telemetry (TNCC) or Cardiac-Vascular Nursing (CVRN) preferred
Strong ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to acute changes in patient condition
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
