TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Telemetry to monitor and care for patients with cardiac conditions who require continuous telemetry monitoring. This role is ideal for RNs with a strong background in cardiac care, telemetry interpretation, and emergency response, ensuring the highest standard of patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, EKG/ECG readings, and telemetry data
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients with heart disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-cardiac procedures
- Administer IV drips, cardiac medications, and titrate vasopressors as prescribed
- Respond quickly to cardiac emergencies, code situations, and rapid response calls
- Collaborate with cardiologists, intensivists, and healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, medications, lifestyle changes, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and patient documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac telemetry, step-down, or progressive care units (PCU)
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
- Certification in Telemetry (TNCC) or Cardiac-Vascular Nursing (CVRN) preferred
- Strong ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to acute changes in patient condition
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

**Weekly Pay:** $1846.04
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36.0 (if provided)
