Responsibilities
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Travel RN – Alcohol and Addiction specialist to provide compassionate care to patients struggling with substance use disorders. The ideal candidate will work closely with healthcare teams to support recovery efforts, administer treatments, and provide patient education in various addiction treatment settings, including detox centers, rehabilitation facilities, and outpatient clinics.
Qualifications
- Assess and monitor patients experiencing withdrawal symptoms
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as prescribed
- Provide emotional support and crisis intervention for patients in recovery
- Educate patients and families on substance abuse, relapse prevention, and harm reduction strategies
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to develop individualized treatment plans
- Document patient progress and responses to treatment
- Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards
- Assist in group therapy sessions and patient education programs
Benefits
