Responsibilities
- Perform specialized imaging procedures, including angiography, fluoroscopy, and interventional radiology.
- Assist physicians with minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Ensure radiation safety and proper shielding techniques.
- Operate advanced imaging equipment, such as C-arms and fluoroscopes.
- Monitor and document patient conditions during procedures.
- Maintain accurate imaging records and reports.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality control checks.
- Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Certification: ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (VI) or (CV) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in special procedures or interventional radiology.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of special procedures, radiation safety, and sterile techniques.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments.
