Responsibilities

Administer prescribed radiation doses to patients, following oncologist treatment plans.
Operate and adjust linear accelerators and related radiation?therapy equipment to ensure accurate dose delivery.
Monitor patient responses during treatment and report side effects to the medical team.
Maintain detailed, accurate treatment records in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.
Educate patients about the treatment process and provide emotional support throughout their care.
Strictly adhere to radiation?safety protocols and quality?assurance measures.
Collaborate with oncologists, dosimetrists, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Adapt quickly to different facility workflows and contribute positively to each healthcare team.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
Current ARRT (RT?T) certification required (state licensure where applicable).
Minimum 2 years of experience delivering therapeutic radiation treatments.
Comprehensive understanding of radiation?safety principles and treatment planning.
Excellent communication, critical?thinking, and patient?care skills.
Willingness and ability to accept travel assignments across multiple facilities.
