TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, perform high?quality diagnostic and therapeutic imaging, and uphold regulatory standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Operate gamma cameras, PET, and SPECT imaging systems to obtain high?quality images.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures, following strict radiation?safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate radiation?exposure records and comply with all regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to evaluate imaging results and optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform routine quality?control checks on imaging equipment and report malfunctions promptly.
- Adapt quickly to different facility workflows and contribute positively to each healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
- NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification required (additional state licensure if applicable).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine imaging preferred.
- Proficiency in PET, SPECT, and gamma?camera imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication, critical?thinking, and patient?care skills.
- Willingness and ability to accept travel assignments across multiple facilities.
