Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment to obtain high?quality diagnostic images.
- Screen patients for contraindications (e.g., metal implants, pacemakers) and ensure overall safety.
- Position patients correctly for optimal image clarity and comfort.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to review and assess scans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with HIPAA.
- Adhere to MRI?specific safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions promptly.
- Adapt quickly to different facility workflows and contribute positively to each healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, MRI Technology, or related field.
- Current ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required (state licensure where applicable).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in MRI imaging preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MRI physics, anatomy, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, critical?thinking, and patient?care skills.
- Willingness and ability to accept travel assignments across multiple facilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care, and maintaining accurate patient records. Your expertise as an MRI Tech will play a crucial role in providing top-notch radiology services to patients in the Clarkston area.
