Responsibilities

Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms using digital imaging systems.
Ensure proper patient positioning, comfort, and privacy throughout procedures.
Maintain compliance with MQSA, ACR, and facility-specific imaging protocols.
Educate patients about the exam process and address any concerns or questions.
Maintain accurate records, including patient information and image documentation.
Perform routine quality control checks and assist with equipment troubleshooting.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure timely and accurate results.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography imaging preferred.
Strong knowledge of breast anatomy, imaging techniques, and safety protocols.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Willingness to take on travel assignments at various clinical locations.
