The Mammography Technologist will perform high-quality breast imaging procedures to assist in the detection and diagnosis of breast diseases. Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms using specialized imaging equipment.
- Ensure compliance with MQSA, ACR, FDA, and other regulatory standards.
- Maintain quality control measures and radiation safety protocols.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and addressing concerns.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain and update patient records and imaging reports.
- Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Certification: ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography.
- Skills: Strong technical, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments.
