TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist physicians in minimally invasive, image?guided procedures while upholding patient safety and regulatory standards. This position is structured for travel assignments, ideal for technologists who excel in dynamic clinical environments and enjoy exploring new locations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in image?guided procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, biopsies, and catheter insertions.
- Operate and adjust fluoroscopic, ultrasound, and CT imaging equipment for optimal visualization.
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort, sterile technique, and procedural accuracy.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and provide necessary support throughout procedures.
- Maintain strict infection?control protocols and adhere to radiation?safety standards.
- Document all procedures and patient information accurately in compliance with HIPAA.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high?quality patient care.
- Adapt quickly to different facility workflows and contribute positively to each healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (VI) or (CV) preferred (state licensure where applicable).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Comprehensive knowledge of vascular and non?vascular interventional procedures.
- Proficiency in radiation?safety practices and sterile technique.
- Ability to thrive in high?stress, fast?paced environments with excellent critical?thinking skills.
- Willingness and ability to accept travel assignments across multiple facilities.
