TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Technologist to assist in cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, electrophysiology studies, and other interventional procedures. This position is structured for travel assignments, ideal for technologists who excel in high?pressure cardiac environments and enjoy exploring new locations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and electrophysiology procedures.
- Operate and maintain imaging and hemodynamic?monitoring equipment.
- Prepare patients and maintain a sterile field, adhering to strict infection?control protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report abnormalities to the medical team promptly.
- Document procedures, patient responses, and imaging data accurately in compliance with HIPAA.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and radiology staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adapt quickly to different facility workflows and contribute positively to each healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field.
- Current ARRT (R) or RCIS certification preferred (state licensure where applicable).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory.
- Proficiency in fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, and catheter?based interventions.
- Ability to perform effectively in high?stress, fast?paced environments.
- Excellent communication, critical?thinking, and patient?care skills.
- Willingness and ability to accept travel assignments across multiple facilities.
