TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Technologist to assist in cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, electrophysiology studies, and other interventional procedures. Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and electrophysiology procedures.
- Operate and maintain imaging and hemodynamic?monitoring equipment.
- Prepare patients and maintain a sterile field, adhering to strict infection?control protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report abnormalities to the medical team promptly.
- Document procedures, patient responses, and imaging data accurately in compliance with HIPAA.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and radiology staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adapt quickly to different facility workflows and contribute positively to each healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field.
- Current ARRT (R) or RCIS certification preferred (state licensure where applicable).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory.
- Proficiency in fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, and catheter?based interventions.
- Ability to perform effectively in high?stress, fast?paced environments.
- Excellent communication, critical?thinking, and patient?care skills.
- Willingness and ability to accept travel assignments across multiple facilities.
