Responsibilities

Administer radiation?therapy treatments according to oncologist prescriptions and treatment plans.
Operate and maintain linear accelerators and other radiation?therapy equipment.
Educate and prepare patients for treatment procedures, addressing questions and concerns.
Ensure accurate patient positioning and immobilization to achieve precise dose delivery.
Monitor patients during treatment, reporting and documenting any adverse reactions.
Adhere to strict radiation?safety protocols and perform routine quality?assurance checks.
Maintain detailed treatment records in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Adapt quickly to different facility workflows and contribute positively to each healthcare team.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or closely related field.
Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required (state licensure where applicable).
Minimum 1?2 years of experience delivering therapeutic radiation treatments.
Strong technical proficiency, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent patient?communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and focused in high?pressure clinical situations.
Willingness and ability to accept travel assignments across multiple facilities.
