Responsibilities

Dispense prescription medications accurately while verifying legality and appropriateness.

Monitor patient reactions and intervene in adverse drug events when necessary.
Maintain regulatory compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws.
Review medication orders for accuracy, clinical appropriateness, and potential interactions.
Collaborate with medical teams across various facilities to optimize patient outcomes.
Adjust to various pharmacy systems and support staff in diverse clinical settings.

Qualifications

Active and unencumbered Pharmacist license in the practicing state(s).
Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy degree (BSPharm or PharmD).
Minimum 2 years of clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication therapy, and patient counseling.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Willingness and ability to take on travel assignments as required.
