TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Counselor for travel assignments across various healthcare and community facilities. The Mental Health Counselor will provide individual and group counseling, develop treatment plans, and support patients with mental health and emotional challenges. Responsibilities
- Provide counseling services to individuals, families, and groups.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Conduct mental health assessments and diagnose conditions.
- Utilize therapeutic techniques such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based interventions.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Assist in crisis intervention and suicide prevention.
- Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Certification: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a mental health setting.
- Skills: Strong communication, crisis management, and therapeutic intervention abilities.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments.
