TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for travel assignments in various healthcare facilities. The MLT will perform diagnostic laboratory tests, analyze biological specimens, and ensure accurate and timely results for patient care. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to laboratory safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests on blood, tissue, and bodily fluids.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Analyze test results and report findings to physicians and medical teams.
  • Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain quality control procedures to ensure test accuracy.
  • Prepare specimens for testing and processing.
  • Maintain detailed laboratory records and reports.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order laboratory supplies.
  • Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
  • Certification: ASCP, AMT, or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in a laboratory setting.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to accept travel assignments.
