TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Outpatient for travel assignments in various healthcare facilities. The LPN will provide direct patient care, assist with clinical procedures, administer medications, and support providers in outpatient settings such as clinics, physician offices, and specialty care centers. This role requires strong clinical skills, patient-focused care, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in an outpatient setting.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
- Assist with minor procedures, wound care, and dressing changes.
- Monitor vital signs and document patient progress.
- Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
- Coordinate with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Travel to various outpatient facilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Completion of an accredited LPN program.
- License: Active LPN license in the state of assignment or compact license.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient or clinic setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong patient care, clinical assessment, and communication skills.
- Certifications: BLS certification required.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments.
