Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Med Surg unit.
- Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition.
- Assist in wound care, dressing changes, and other treatments.
- Document patient care, progress, and interventions accurately.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
- Educate patients and families on post-care instructions.
- Travel to various healthcare facilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Completion of an accredited LPN program.
- License: Active LPN license in the state of assignment or compact license.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a Med Surg setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment, time management, and patient care skills.
- Certifications: BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments.
