Responsibilities

• Assist in labor and delivery procedures, including C-sections and natural births.
• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the delivery room.
• Set up and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Provide support to nurses and physicians during obstetric procedures.
• Monitor and document patient information and vital signs.
• Assist in postpartum care and newborn handling.
• Travel to different healthcare facilities as part of temporary assignments.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Surgical Technologist or Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in labor & delivery or surgical assisting.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques, obstetric care, and surgical procedures.
• Travel Readiness: Willingness to work in various locations on travel contracts.
