Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate dialysis machines for patient treatments.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis procedures.
- Set up and sterilize equipment following infection control protocols.
- Assess patient vitals and document treatment information.
- Assist nurses and physicians in providing dialysis care.
- Educate patients about dialysis procedures and care.
- Travel to different healthcare facilities based on assignment needs.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dialysis technician training program preferred.
- Certification: Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of dialysis experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, patient care skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to accept travel assignments and relocate as needed.
